100% of our grapes are from Michigan! The grapes for our wine are sustainably grown and sourced. We have heavy clay loam soils. Which is different from other wine growing regions in Michigan. Most have more sandy soils. We believe the heavy loamy soil helps build structure and complexity. Being in a cooler climate, our wines are more crisp, fresh and elegante than other new world wines. We produce wines similar to Burgundy and Alsace France.
